Will it rip to MP3? MediaMonkey only rips or converts to MP3 for the first 30 days unless you buy the “gold” version, or have to knowledge to add in the proper encoder or some such thing. I’d like it better if they scrapped that function, because it’s total crap. Another thing - Winamp supports video playback. But you can edit the song on the player through Winamp and it’s fine. And when transferring songs in MTP mode, it seems to replace “/” (and maybe a few other symbols) with “_”.

On the downside, on my PC it’s a little bit slow sometimes. I’ve seen other people using it with a few plugins, which ones I don’t know, but I assume there are plenty out there to accomodate your needs. I use almost no plugins (except a Lyrics plugin that displays the Lyrics from the currently playing song from a free, editable database) and it’s still great.

I’ve been using it for yeeeeeaaars and years, gone through multiple versions (started in 2.x, went through 3.x, skipped 4.x - I’m not sure they even released that version - and now I’m at 5.x), and I love it.
